Server, Network and Workstation Platforms

The Infrastructure is what we’re all about. Another term for infrastructure is platform. At the heart of any business system, is the platform. The platform begins with all of the computer hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, network switches, routers, firewalls, printers, scanners, etc. All of this hardware needs to be installed and physically (or wirelessly) connected together in order to form a “computer network.”

The other vital component to the platform are Operating Systems. Every computing device must use software called its Operation System which allows it is perform its functions. These Operating Systems can be provided by Microsoft (Windows), Apple (MacOS) or by a provider of Linux OSes, such as Red Hat.

The platform, once completed, is ready for your line-of-business applications to be installed and used for your daily to day work.
